Microwave recipe of tomato rice
this recipe is for the event microwave easy cooking ( MEC )
hosted by cooking 4 all seasons
the theme for this month is rice
INGREDIENTS FOR TOMATO RICE-
RICE BOILED TWO CUPS ( I PREPAPRED THE RICE IN MICROWAVE RICE COOKER FOR 8 MINUTES )
ONION CHOPPED ONE
TOMATO CHOPPED ONE
SALT TO TATSE
CUMIN SEED 1/2tsp
dry mango powder 1/2 tsp
garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
oil
procedure
heat oil in pan and fry cumin seeds
when the cumin seeds turn brown ,ad onions and fry till soft
add tomatoes and fry till soft
add rice ,salt,amchur and garam masala powder
fry for five minutes and serve hot

Recipe name - Ghee bath
ingredients
basmati rice cooked two cups
ghee/clarified butter 3tbsp
cloves 4
cinnamon 2
bayleaves 2
black peppercorn 3
salt
procedure
heat the clarified butter ,saute the cloves,cinnamon,bayleaves and peppercorns for a few seconds.
add the rice and saute for 1 minute
add salt and serve hot.

ingredients
potato peeled and cubed two
onion one
tomato one
garlic flakes chopped one
ginger 1/2" piece
cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
whole red chilies 3
salt to taste
oil 2tbsp
procedure
grind ginger, garlic ,redchilies and onion to a paste
heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds,when they turn brown add the paste and fry for 6 mins
add tomatoes and fry till they are soft
add potatoes and mix well
add sugar and salt
add 1 cup of water
cover and cook till mixture dries and patatoes become tender
