Horha-Dry roasted fresh chickpeas
Kuchni - freshly grounded coarse chutney of garlic,ginger,green chilli,salt and red chilli pickle,coarsely ground all the ingredient together .

Friends its really difficult for me to decide which pic to send for Click Wood Event hosted by Jugalbndi.Please help me decide whether i should send Horha with kuchni pic or the below pic which has dry roasted garam masla ingredients

Thats neat stuff. I've never heard of either :) As far as pic goes, in my opinion, the first pic is pretty good, if you could sharpen it a tad. For some reason it looks a touch blurred.

yum..i love these rustic delights. I've had horha before, didn't know what it was called though. Usually roasted on stalks on chhoti holi, no?
My choice is the second pic, with the garam masala ingredients which contrast nicely with the basket.

We do fry chickpeas with shell in some parts of Karnataka. Did not know about chutney. It's good to pack some for tours. Thanks for sending them to my event. The fist picture is good.
Though all pictures are great,I'm voting for the first one :)

hey priyanka..this is one of my bro's favorite. it reminds me of my hometown too.
i cant recall wht they call the roasted version but i remember them selling on " suriya" ( i.e. for measurement) basis and the raw one are known as "Boot".
