Kumbh memories with til gud ladoo

Wish all the readers of Asan Khana Happy Vasant Panchmi,
during our childhood days we used to accompany our Dadi for the sacred bath also known as nahan to Sangam on the  auspicious days during Kumbh Mela, now when i see sites like this i am filled with mixed reactions,i remember we used to have guests every year during winters for the Kumbh Snan,it was fun camping in tents riverside, playing in sands, having tea at midnight, watching ramlila, krishna lila and so many other activities. Now the simple tents are replaced by luxurious tents with all kind of facilities,i mean so fast things change,i guess some years ahead when i go to Sangam for camping ,i gonna be both shocked and sad ,shocked because what memories i have of the place they would be changed and sad because everything would be commercialised to attract tourists.Have a look at the facilities and you guys will know what i am talking about.

Coming back to today's post i gonna share recipe of Til ladoo prepared by my mother in law
Recipe Name TIL Ladoo
Recipe Style Cooking
Ingredient
Til one cup
Gud half cup
Procedure
Dry roast the sesame seeds till they start changing their colour ,keep aside
heat jaggery with water in a vessel on medium flame
Once jaggery reaches required consistency remove from flame and mix roasted sesame seeds
to make laddoos, take water in a bowl, moisten hand with this before making each ladoo this will prevent the mixture from sticking to the hand, shape into laddoo shape, this has to be done very quickly as the mixture hardens very soon.
