parippu thalichathu and bhindi fry

tried this another version of bhindi fry with tamarind and curry leaves which we normally don add to the bhindi fry

ingredients

ladysfinger chopped half kg
onion chopped three
green chilli chopped three
dried red chilli three
mustard seeds one teaspoon
grounded cumin and coriander seeds
curry leaves twenty
salt to taste
tamarind concentarte one tbsp
nd jaggery one tbsp

procedure

heat oil in wok,add chiiliesmustard seeds and curry leaves and keep stirring
add ladysfinger,chopped onion,chillies and salt...keep stirring on medium heat
now add jaggery ,coriander and cumin powder nd keep stirring

stir in tamarind and water ,reduce heat to low and cook,till okra is tender,.

add salt..and serve hot..

chana dal twoc ups
turmeric powder half tsp
coconut cream half cup

tempering

aniseed one teaspoon
mustard seed one teaspoon
curry leaves twenty
salt to taste
chilli powder one tsp
garlic minced half tsp
juice of lemon half tsp


procedure

cook lentil with water,turmeric and salt...keep stirring
keep cooking till water is absorbed

remove from heat and stir in coconut cream ,keep aside

for the tempering

heat oil,add aniseeds and mustard seedsand keep stirring,add curry leaves,salt,chili powder and garlic keep stirring for a minute
pour tempering over dal,add lemon juice a stir,..tomix,..
