pudina wala murgh

As i was busy updating the post of foodies meet in my blog,.,,hubby prepared PUDINA CHICKEN THAT DAY,..NOT MANY PICS,..AS I WAS BUSY ON COM,,.AND HE WAS ALONE IN KITCHEN..WE HAD WITH PLAIN parantha,,AND THE TASTE WAS GREAT...MAYBE CAUSE PUDINA LEAVES WERE FRESH THANKS LAKSHMI FOR PUDINA LEAVES FROM YOUR KITCHEN GARDEN...,..PREPARED FOR THE FIRST TIME...REALLY LIKED IT,...COMING TO THE INGREDIENTS

CHICKEN WASHED,CLEANED AND CUT 450 gm
water 300ml
salt to taste
oil to cook
tomato puree two tbsp
pudina leaves chopped two tbsp
onion chopped two
ginger grated one teaspoon
lemon juice of half lemon
crushed red chilli 2

procedure

boil chicken in water ,till the water evaporates and chicken becomes tender.
keep aside
heat oil in wok add chopped onions and fry till onions change their colour
now add boiled chicken to chopped onions and keep frying till chicken becomes brown fromboth side
once done add grated ginger,red chili,lemon juice,mint leaves and salt ,,keep stirring
once everything blends well,,serve hot with rice or chapati

The recipe sounds fantastic. But do you have to boil the chicken beforehand? I'm not sure I like that step!

himallika ,.if u don feel like boiling ,dont boil,..skip boilin step
